Coach Tessa is from Niceville, Fl, born and raised. She comes from a family of volleyball players including her grandfather, father and aunt. In her three years of junior high she was on the varsity volleyball team. Freshman year in high school she started on the JV team, and the remaining three years she started on the varsity team. She graduated from Niceville High School in 2015, and went on to play college volleyball at Gulf Coast State College on a full athletic scholarship. After receiving her Associate of Arts degree in 2017, Tessa continued her education at University of West Florida. In 2019, Tessa graduated UWF with her bachelors degree in Sport Management.
